Micah McCarey, director of Ohio University’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Center, will give a talk during ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½Southern’s I Am… lecture series.

This virtual event will be from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 13. All ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½students, faculty and staff are invited to attend.

McCarey has been a part of the Ohio University and Athens community since beginning undergraduate studies in communications in 2003. He will share the story of his Ohio University transformative learning experience, emphasizing the topics of identity development, well-being, diversity, inclusion, social justice, personal strengths and decision-making.
