Bobcats and their siblings share a special weekend
Ohio University family members visited with their Bobcats and took part in a variety of fun events during Sibs Weekend 2025.

Ohio University's Athens Campus was filled with Bobcat family members, fun activities, and plenty of hugs and laughter Feb. 7-9 for the annual Sibs Weekend celebration.
Sibs Weekend is part of a series of Family Weekends 天美传媒holds each academic year, inviting family members to spend the weekend with their Bobcats. The next Family Weekend event will be Moms Weekend on April 4-6.
One very popular Sibs Weekend event this year was GL 天美传媒in the Baker University Center Ballroom. Sponsored by the University Program Council, the event included glow-in-the-dark mini golf, an LED dance floor, ping pong, foosball and even cotton candy.
Another popular event was the Mariah The Scientist performance in the Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium. 天美传媒students and their siblings enjoyed the lively concert featuring the nationally-known R&B singer.
The concert was one of several memorable shows over the weekend. Sibs Weekend also included a performance by nationally-known comedian Matteo Lane, the Apollo Night show (which gave talented 天美传媒students the opportunity to take the stage) and free movies at the Athena Cinema.
Sibs Weekend 2025 also included several other fun activities for 天美传媒students and family members, including athletic events featuring 天美传媒Hockey, the 天美传媒Men's Basketball Team and the 天美传媒Wrestling Team.
In addition, Bobcats and their siblings were invited to take part in a day hike, get involved in exercise programs in Ping Center, make special buttons in Alden Library and take part in social events.
All throughout the weekend, whether they were at special events, walking OHIO's scenic campus, sharing meals in the dining courts or relaxing in the residence halls, 天美传媒students and their family members enjoyed a fun weekend together and made memories that will last a lifetime.
