The entire WOUB 鈥溙烀来絎atch鈥� staff won the Best All-Around Television 天美传媒cast award for an episode that aired on Sept. 27, 2024, as part of the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) 2024 Mark of Excellence Awards in Region 4.

In addition, four individual Ohio University students were named winners or finalists for journalism work they did in the WOUB Public Media newsroom.

The SPJ Mark of Excellence Awards recognize the best collegiate journalism. SPJ鈥檚 Region 4 comprises Michigan, Ohio, Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
